Located on the Rochdale Canal in Manchester鈥檚 Northern Quarter, Avro provides 31 traditional, canal-side loft apartments in the former Brownsfield Mill. Constructed in 1825 and Grade II listed, the mill building features the oldest surviving mill chimney in Manchester. Taking its name from the Avro biplanes that were once constructed in the building, each apartment reflects a sense of the building鈥檚 history, with exposed mill boards 鈥� thick timber planks spanning between main beams without joists 鈥� and the reuse of salvaged materials throughout.聽聽
