All shortlisted projects will be assessed by a regional jury with the winning projects announced throughout May. Award winners are considered for several RIBA Special Awards, including the Sustainability Award, Conservation Award, Client of the Year, Project Architect of the Year, Small Project of the Year, and Building of the Year.

All award winners will go on to be considered for RIBA National Award in recognition of their architectural excellence, the results of which will be announced in the summer.

The juror experience

Our East region team spoke to some of the jurors in 2024 to find out why they signed up and what they learnt along the way.

Jury application 2026

RIBA will open the application process for next years' jurors in summer 2025.
